Snow Emergency Declaration

Per Section 122-126 of the municipal code, a snow emergency in the City of Evansville has been declared from 3:00am to 3:00pm on March 7th, 2022 to aid the city’s snow removal operations. The National Weather Service is predicting a significant snow fall over the course of this time.

This means there shall be no parking permitted on either side of the city’s streets and all vehicles must be parked on private property or in designated public parking areas per Section 122-133 of the municipal code. Vehicles parked in violation of these restrictions will be ticketed and towed.

Again, a Snow Emergency is in effect from 3:00am to 3:00pm on March 7th, 2022. Parking restrictions during this period will allow crews to remove as much snow as possible from this projected storm.

The following is a link to the city’s website which outlines the Snow Emergency Parking Restrictions as well as allowable parking areas.
