Dog Park Temporarily Closed for Maintenance
The city’s dog park will be temporarily closed for maintenance beginning April 18th and will reopen on Monday May 2nd. Municipal Services will be installing some newly donated benches in the park and creating a new non-grass surface in the gated entrance area. We will also be re-seeding a large area with a new high traffic grass seed that will hold up to running dogs much better and create a less muddy environment for all. We need this time to help the new grass germinate and the installation of the new benches to cure properly. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience while work to create a better park.
Thanks,
Chad A. Renly
Municipal Services Director
